A boutique creative campus in the heart of East London, Metropolis Collective redefines the mixed-use workplace for the post-pandemic city.
Carved from a former Victorian printworks in Shoreditch, Metropolis Collective preserves the industrial character of its host building while inserting a series of contemporary volumes — studios, workshops, and shared amenities — within its original brick shell.
The design prioritises adaptability: moveable partitions, exposed service infrastructure, and generous floor-to-ceiling heights ensure the spaces can evolve alongside the creative businesses that inhabit them.
"The city's finest buildings are those that absorb each generation without apology."— Marcus Thorne, Principal Architect
